Gecko - Ukraine FV103 CVR(T)


 Something new and interesting coming from Gecko Models, a FV103 CVR(T) Spartan with Extra Armored Turret.  This looks to be a continuation of vehicles representing the Ukraine-Russian War.  The FV103 Spartan was developed by the British in the 1970's to support movement of specialist teams.



The vehicles were provided to Ukraine in support of its defense from the Russian aggression.  And the Ukrainians have been very good at modifying vehicles to match their needs.






Based on the CAD drawing release, the kit looks like it will be well detailed and includes photo-etched.

    Great work, guys, yet the box art picture shows too many inaccuracies. The vehicle displays the logo of the Prytula Foundation, which means this APC couldn’t have smoke dischargers — it wasn’t a lend-lease item but a volunteer-funded purchase, and such equipment had to be fully demilitarized. Even when Spartans like this were handed over to the Ukrainian troopers, the smoke launchers were never reinstalled.
