Gecko - Early Matilda

 

Gecko Models has announced an early Matilda, the British Infantry Tank Mk.1 (A11 Type I) Matilda I.  The kit looks to include photo-etched details as usual from Gecko.  The Matilda I should not be confused with the more popular Matilda II.  And the Matilda did have some success in France in 1940, but was withdrawn from combat duties after Dunkirk.
